My name is Hama, founder of Oil Lab and a self-taught perfumer.
What started as a hobby grew into a deep fascination with scent. I began experimenting with raw materials and formulas, curious about how perfumes are truly constructed and how they develop on the skin.
I soon discovered that I was primarily looking for something I often missed: real projection, character, and a scent that lingers. Not fleeting perfumes, but compositions that have a presence and create a complete olfactory experience.
At Oil Lab, I create perfumes inspired by the world of niche perfumery. I work in small batches and pay close attention to every formula. Each perfume is carefully developed, and filled and labeled by hand, bottle by bottle.
My focus is on maximum projection, depth, and a rich scent experience. Perfumes that evolve, linger, and leave a lasting impression.
Every bottle that leaves my studio in Deventer is the result of experimentation, attention to detail, and a true passion for perfume.
